  • The Writing Studio: Located on the first floor of Kemp Library, the Writing Studio’s mission is to help students draft, revise, and complete their writing assignments in a comfortable, cozy environment. Students will improve their writing through every stage of the writing process with guided practice, helpful tips and motivation, workshops, one-to-one tutoring sessions, handouts, and resources.
  • Kemp Library maintains a collection of approximately 392,048 print items, including books, periodicals, and government documents. The library provides 24/7 access to 110 online databases that contain more than 2.7 million full text documents.
  • The Office of Accessible Services Individualized for Students (OASIS) provides services for students with documented disabilities, and/or medical conditions on a case by case basis, coordinates academic and housing accommodations, and connects students with appropriate resources both on and off campus. In addition, OASIS strives to educate the university community, encourages self-advocacy, and promotes equal access to educational opportunities at ESU.

  • Duolingo: The most popular way to learn languages! It’s free, fun and effective. The secret? Duolingo feels like a game and makes sure you stay motivated.
  • TED Talks: TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.
  • MIT Open Course Ware: Through MIT Open Course Ware, educators improve courses and curricula; students find additional resources to help them succeed; and independent learners enrich their lives and use the content to tackle some of our world’s most difficult challenges.
  • iTunes U is a dedicated section of Apple's iTunes Music Store that features educational audio and video files from universities, museums and public media organizations for free download to PCs and mobile devices. Available from iTunes.
