Announcing ESU Winter Session -- accelerated online study.
Thank you for your interest in ESU Winter Session 2015. Registration begins November 3. Don’t worry if you forget-we will send you a reminder when it’s time to register. Just add your email address below.
Most winter session courses are General Education(GE) designated and all of the courses are offered online only. Students may register for a maximum of 6 credits. Open the list of winter session classes.
- We encourage you to register by December 1, 2014. Early enrollment is encouraged since low enrolled sections may be canceled.
- Due to the intensive nature of online course work in an abbreviated time frame, students are limited to taking 6 credits during Winter Session.
- Because Winter Session is a "supplemental" semester, financial aid is not available for the 5-week Winter Session.
General Online Course Information
Tuition Costs for Winter Session 2015.
During the Winter Session 2015 all coursework will be online. However, some online courses may have synchronous meeting times (which means that you must be online on certain days and times). Check the current schedule for details about individual courses.
ESU Email Account
Please check your ESU email account prior to the start of your course for information from your professor. All students who are registered for courses at ESU have been assigned an email account. To set up or access your student email go to your ESU portal.
Online courses are run on a learning platform called Desire2Learn (D2L). You can access D2L directly at https://esu.desire2learn.com or by clicking the D2L link at the top of this page. Once on D2L, you will be asked for a username and password. This is the same login information you use to access your email and MyESU. After logging in, you should see a list of all courses in which you are enrolled in the "My Courses" area. Clicking on a course title in that list will take you into the course.

Students registering for Distance Education (online courses) are required to have daily access to a PC or Mac using Microsoft 2000, Vista or Windows XP and a high speed internet connection.
