Economic Outlook Summit

Tarun Chopra, Vice President of Product Management Data and AI for IBM, will present the keynote address at the 11th Annual East Stroudsburg University Economic Outlook Summit on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 7:30 a.m. to noon at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions - Poconos.
The Summit will feature presentations on the economic resurgence underway in the Poconos: Carbon, Monroe, Pike and Wayne counties, a region that attracted more than 30 million visitors in 2023 with an economic impact of $4.3 billion.
Featured topics include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Rail Transportation to the Poconos, Housing, Innovation and Entrepreneurship; in addition to the Annual Pocono Economic Scorecard which includes data on Income/Wages; Employment; Business Climate; Housing; Healthcare; Arts, Entertainment and Recreation; and Education.
