Bachelors of Art in Sociology - Sociology program aims at helping students develop and utilize critical thinking skills and integrate Sociological knowledge in their understanding of various social issues and problems. The program also helps students recognize the value of human diversity, gain awareness of social inequality and the societal goal of social justice. The B.A. in Sociology is a solid foundation for those interested in graduate work in Sociology as well as in many other disciplines.

Bachelors of Science in Social Work - Social work program offers students with the educational background necessary for competent generalist social work practice in a range of human service settings. The B.S. in Social work is a solid foundation for those interested in graduate study in Social Work or related disciplines.

Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice - The Criminal Justice program provides students with the educational background necessary to pursue careers in Criminal Justice, and/or to pursue graduate study in criminology, criminal justice, law or other related fields.

Minors in Sociology, Social Work, and Criminal Justice - Students also have the opportunity to enhance their Bachelor degree by minoring in Sociology,Social Work, and Criminal Justice.

The Department of Sociology, Social Work and Criminal Justice is home to scholars with eclectic interests and research topics. In addition to providing a stimulating student-centered learning environment, our faculty is well known for being caring advisers and mentors. The faculty is representative of diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds, religious affiliations, as well as diverse academic specialties.
