To all members of the ESU community
I am honored to serve as the thirteenth president of East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, and look forward to meeting you. From my first visit to ESU, I sensed unparalleled enthusiasm and energy across disciplines and divisions that radiate Warrior pride. Needless to say, I’m eager to become part of this institution and to participate in its longstanding traditions. I welcome new and returning students, families, alumni and friends to join me. After all, it is the people who will continue to make this institution great.
For nearly 120 years, East Stroudsburg University has provided its students with a high quality education. One of my highest priorities will be to ensure our students will continue to have access to academic excellence in our classrooms and laboratories as well as the best possible life experiences, on and off-campus.
I look forward to advancing our mission, which (in part) is to provide “challenging and contemporary undergraduate and graduate curricula that engage and equip students to critically appraise and apply knowledge in their lives and chosen fields of study.” To do so, it will require the deep commitment of our outstanding faculty and staff, the determination of our student body, and the backing of legislators, alumni, families and friends of the university. I am confident that, working together, we will continue to strengthen the value of an ESU degree for years to come.
Thank you for your genuine support and trust in East Stroudsburg University and in our ability to deliver a superior, innovative education to future generations of global citizens who are not only great leaders but true Warriors.
