Our department employs four Graduate Assistants. Two are in smaller traditional residence halls, and two are in our suite-style housing.
A GA directly oversees the daily operation of one small residence hall, or co-supervises one suite-style building. This includes, but is not limited to, supervision of student staff employees, programming, enforcement of rules and regulations, and first-level counseling of students.
A GA receives a $5,000 stipend per academic year, 100% PA-state tuition waiver (up to 9 credits per semester) and a free furnished apartment with utilities.
I encourage you to carefully review the Graduate Assistant and the Suite-Style Housing Graduate Assistant job description before applying for the Graduate Assistant position(s).
If you have any questions about the position or selection process, please do not hesitate to contact Kelly- 570-422-3105 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
