East Stroudsburg University is hosting its 10th Annual MLK Day of Service on February 8, 2024, from 2 pm to 4 pm in the University Center. In collaboration with our Warrior Food Pantry at St. Matthew, our campaign theme for this year is "What's in your 15?". Recognizing that a semester encompasses 15 weeks, we aim to address the issue of food insecurity, where some students lack the recommended three daily meals for a regular and nutritious diet. This initiative underscores the significance of providing support, as it translates to 315 meals that students may rely on the pantry for throughout the semester.

We extend an invitation to students, faculty, staff, and the community to contribute by donating gift cards, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and non-perishable food items. Donations can be conveniently dropped off on the day of the event or at the Center for Multicultural Affairs located at 96 Normal Street.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Lyesha Fleming, Director of the Center for Multicultural Affairs and Inclusive Education (570) 422-3896 or email at lfleming@esu.edu.
