Ways to Get Involved:

Volunteer to be on a Career Panel

Career Development & Student Success plans career panels throughout the academic year to educate students about a variety of potential career options. Topics may include: careers in writing, alternative health, human services, sports industry, criminal justice business and homeland security. Students enjoy hearing about panelists' experiences first-hand. It is also a good opportunity for them to learn about the rewards and challenges of specific careers and how to get a foot in the door, and they gain a potentially valuable contact in the industry. Please contact us at careerdevelopment@esu.edu or call 570-422-3219.

Provide Internship Opportunities

Internships provide valuable career education, professional skills development, and much need experience. In return, student interns bring to companies and other organizations innovative, creative and energetic assistance in meeting goals. Internships programs also allow employers to screen potential full-time hires. To learn more about hiring interns from ESU or if assistance is requested in developing your internship program, please contact Daria Wielebinski at dwielebinski@esu.edu or call (570) 422-3282.

Hire an ESU Graduate

Nothing is more helpful to ESU students than being helped to secure their first professional position. ESU offers graduates who bring the latest academic training and professional skills to your organization. Whatever type of position you have available, we have a degree program that will meet your needs and Career Development & Student Success offers many different ways to find your perfect new hire.
