The program supports faculty initiatives that infuse entrepreneurial topics and activities into the classroom.
ESU, in collaboration with tecBridge, received a Develop and Discover in Pennsylvania (D2PA) grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. ESU received $17,000 to support grants in innovation and entrepreneurship.
ESU was also recently awarded a PPL Sustaining Grant to support this internal grant program. This award adds $5,000 additional dollars for up to two awards of $2,500 each.
The proposals must address how the project or proposed idea is in alignment with ESU’s strategic plan Students First: Innovate ESU.
Proposal Requirements and Guidelines
- The RFP is competitive. Faculty across all colleges (Arts and Sciences, Business and Management, Education, Health Sciences, and University College) are invited to submit proposals. Departments may submit more than one proposal. Collaboration within and across colleges is encouraged, but not required.
- Project funds are awarded to activities that support entrepreneurship across the colleges. Eligible proposals may include seed money for workshops, speakers, travel, materials and tools to promote entrepreneurship and awareness of entrepreneurial opportunities.
- The number of grants awarded will be based on the availability of funds and proposal merit.
- Faculty receiving grants will submit a final evaluation report upon completion of the project.
NEW! All applications will now be submitted through the University's new grants software: ESU eGRANTS. Register online today.
