Burgy, the Warriors’ #1 Fan, was unveiled to the East Stroudsburg University community during Homecoming on October 4, 2008. His name was revealed two weeks later after more than 4,000 votes were cast in an online poll.
In addition to being the Warriors #1 fan, Burgy is representative of all fans – from alumni, faculty and staff to students, parents, and friends of ESU.
