Copying and Printing Information

Kemp Library has four Xerox copiers, six microfilm reader/printers and two microfiche reader/printers available for making copies using paper or microform. With the exception of one Xerox copier located near the children's collection on the ground floor, they can be found in the rear of the main floor. Copies cost ten cents using an E-card, fifteen cents using coin. You will also find he change machine and a paper cutter located in this area. The Access Services Department maintains this equipment. If you are having difficulty, please come to the Circulation Desk.

Kemp Library also has two laser printers attached to our library workstations. These workstations do not have access to e-mail or Microsoft Office applications, but are designed to support the research needs of our users. There is a cost of ten cents per page to print. Printing can only be done with an e-card. If you are unaffiliated with the University, e-cards may be purchased for one dollar at the circulation desk. You can then add value to this card either at the e-card office or on the library's add-value station.

  1. Please report all copier malfunctions to the circulation desk.
  2. Xerox copiers accept dollar bills as well as E-cards (with E-dollar credit on them) or change.
  3. The microform machines with coin boxes DO NOT accumulate credit. In other words, if you put in 30 cents you won't get two copies, just one. You must insert coins for each copy.
  4. The Xerox machines do accumulate credit.
  5. We will refund the first 15 cents. No refunds above that amount.

You can deposit funds to your eCard online or at the library's add-value station.
