Orientations, Information Literacy

Faculty are encouraged to bring their classes to the CMC for orientation sessions. Through these sessions, students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the materials available in the CMC, have the opportunity to work with the materials, and stay abreast of the latest computer technology used in public schools.

A multimedia cart equipped with a computer and DVD/Video player is available for use by faculty. Wireless laptops may also be requested for instructional purposes. For further information, to reserve the CMC classroom, or to request laptops please contact the Educational Resources Librarian at (570) 422-3760.

Resources in the Curriculum Materials Center are only intended to serve as samples of the types of aids available to teachers. Since these samples are expensive and difficult to replace, materials in the CMC laboratory circulate at the discretion of the Educational Resources Librarian, for 1 week only with a 1 week renewal option.
