East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania is committed to undertaking a planned, holistic approach to student learning outcomes assessment.

To that end, in January 2010, the University Assessment Committee adopted Developing a Culture of Inquiry and Assessment, a two phase approach to student learning outcomes assessment.

Phase I details the development and subsequent implementation of a university-wide student learning outcomes assessment plan, while Phase II details the development and subsequent implementation of a student learning outcomes assessment plan for every academic major program and all appropriate services.
