| The East Stroudsburg University Web Manager is part of Academic Computing and is dedicated to maintaining and supporting the central web services for the university.
The office is located in Stroud Hall on the 3rd floor in room 321.
The administration of the official East Stroudsburg University Website and its official links are assigned to the university Web Manager who is the custodian of the main home page and keeper of its links to other pages.
The Web Manager can provide guidance and should be used as a point of reference if necessary when developing new pages.
The responsibilities of the Web Manager are to the university and not to the community at large. The Web Manager reports to the Associate Director of Academic Computing and is responsible for:
- Monitoring and maintaining the first 2 levels of East Stroudsburg University's Website.
- Maintain a list of current web pages located within the ESU.EDU domain and the associated page templates for those pages.
- Work with the Web Advisory Committee, Office of University Relations, and Computing & Telecommunication Services to enforce policies and guidelines related to Web publishing.
- Maintain regular communications with the web stewards and supply updates and new guidelines to those individuals.
- Report on a regular basis to the Web Advisory Committee on the status of the university Website as well as new technologies and developments.
- Serve as a constant point of contact and guide on web related issues.
