Information Sessions and Presentations
The Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards provides information to the campus community on University policy as it relates to student behavior. Any student groups or department or faculty member can contact the Office and request presentations on the topics which include:
- The University Judicial Process and Specific University Policies
- Conflict Resolution Strategies
- Responding to Disruptive Behavior
- Hazing
Mediation Services and Training
The Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards provides mediation services to students who are in conflict with one another. Mediation serves as a way for two parties to mutually agree to resolve issues without the formal intervention of the campus judicial process or through the larger court system.
Outside of conducting mediation sessions, the Office also provides training to students who would like to become peer mediators. The Student Advocates for Student Senate are trained by the Office and are available to provide peer mediation services as well.

The Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards works in collaboration with offices on campus and several agencies in the surrounding community and refers students to these areas for further assistance.
