CAMPUS COMMUNITY SAFETY REMINDERS
The University Police would like to remind the University Community that SAFETY does not happen by chance. People are reminded they should not leave living spaces, offices, or classrooms unlocked when not in use. Do not leave valuables or personal items unattended. When walking at night time hours, on or off campus, please stay away from poorly lit areas, stay in groups and be aware of your surroundings. On campus persons are encouraged to utilize the University Police Escort - Safe Ride Service, if they are parking in a more remote area on campus or feel unsafe walking alone on campus during the night time hours.
We are also asking all persons to report any and all suspicious persons immediately to the University Police Department. Please be vigilant and aware of the potential for theft in your work, living and learning environments and take all precautions to restrict unknown persons and secure valuables from potential theft.
If you wish to report any information regarding these or any incidents on campus or have been victimized, please contact the East Stroudsburg University Police Department at 570-422-3063 or 570-422-2000 (emergency) from a cell phone or off campus and at extension 3063 or 2000 (emergency) on campus.
