I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications Media. I also had a minor in Sociology. While at IUP, I was actively involved in residence life where I served in many capacities, including a Resident Assistant, Head Resident Assistant, and Office Manager. I also take great pride in having been a founding father of the Mu Theta Chapter of Phi Mu Delta at IUP.

Upon graduation, I went to Ohio where I started my Master of Education Degree in College Student Personnel at Ohio University (OU). While at OU, I served as the Assistant Resident Director of The Brown/Pickering Complex for two years. In addition I served as the SafeZone Coordinator for the Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Programs during my second year. I was also involved in the Student Personnel Association as Secretary.

I am currently in my sixth year here at ESU.
