Volunteers
About 20 volunteers are needed to assist guests during the commencement ceremony. Commencement volunteers play an important service and public relations role. As a volunteer, you will:
- Provide directions and programs.
- Assist family and friends of our graduates in finding seats.
- Assist guests with special needs.
All volunteers will receive confirmation and detailed information via mail signed by the Vice President which will include step by step instructions for the commencement cermony. If you have a cell phone, please bring it on Saturday so we can reach you if needed.
If you'd like to volunteer at commencement, contact the Student Affairs Office at (570) 422-3463 or sign up in person at the Reibman Adminstration Bldg. Room 121.
Rehearsal will be held on Friday, May 9th, at 3:00 PM in Koehler Fieldhouse all volunteers must attend
All on campus student volunteers will be able to stay an additional night in their dorm, if needed.
