Stony Acres is a 119–acre wildlife sanctuary/recreation facility, owned by the students of ESU.

Originally acquired in 1962, through the efforts of Professor Emeritus Helen Brown, Stony Acres has served as the site for many different groups and individuals to have a positive experience in the outdoors.

Stony Acres is open from dawn to dusk for all ESU students, staff, faculty, and alumni to use at no charge.
