Learning occurs all over the university, both inside and outside the classroom. ESU provides a broad variety of activities and programs to assist you in participating in the ESU community, and in developing your skills and knowledge of leadership, wellness service and diversity.
The Office of Student Affairs supervises all departments, Student Government, all student organizations, and Greek Life.
Organizations and Activities
Student organizations provide opportunities for self-development, self-expression, and leadership. ESU has over 100 organizations, activities and teams. Athletics, fine arts, community service, recreation, scholastic honoraries, student government, and publications are just some of the areas in which students are involved. And, if the university does not offer opportunities in areas of interest, students create new organizations!
PICTURE YOURSELF...as a university leadership or service award recipient, wearing ESU on an athletic letter jacket, as a magician in the Chemistry Club's annual Chemistry Magic Show, cheering ESU on to another sports victory, helping children with disabilities as a member of the Council for Exceptional Children, participating in a unity program of cultural food and dance sponsored by the African American Student Alliance, playing an league sport with your friends from your residence hall, going on a bus trip to Philadelphia or New York City, or coming up with your own idea for an activity that suits your particular interest!
