Please contact United Campus Ministry if you are interested in participating in any of the following service projects.
Big Brothers & Big Sisters
Two programs are available, a school based and a community based. The school based program is a mentoring/tutoring program which takes place at a local elementary school on a weekly basis. Mentors assist their match, an elementary student, with homework and supervised group play activities. The community based program involves a weekly gathering with the "big" and the "little." Gatherings can include going to the mall, watching movies, shopping or playing sports. The "little" and the "big" are free to decide what activity that is most appropriate. Applications for participating in either of these programs can be obtained through United Campus Ministry.
Habitat for Humanity
United Campus Ministry assists the Monroe County Habitat for Humanity with projects that arise. These projects vary from year to year. Announcements for these projects will be posted in the campus bulletin. Contact Campus Ministry to sign up and receive further information.
