Welcome to United Campus Ministry of East Stroudsburg University. United Campus Ministry, (UCM), is sponsored by the Catholic, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Presbyterian and United Methodists Churches. As a branch of student affairs, United Campus Ministry is an organization that facilitates the intellectual, emotional and spiritual development for the East Stroudsburg University community. The program is conducted in a manner, which supports the educational mission of the university and seeks to:
- Provide a safe, welcoming environment, which promotes equality, dignity, and mutual respect.
- Develop student leadership skills through community service activities, social and educational programming.
- Foster the spiritual growth of students by actively providing service to campus constituents and local non-profit organizations.
- Provide religious education through the acquisition of resources such as professional religious educators, reference materials, participation in ministry conferences and travel to promote social justice.
- Encourage student initiative and participation through referral to local places of worship.
- Promote a positive relationship between East Stroudsburg University and local spiritual leaders and their congregations.
