WEST CHESTER - Senior Jenn Mills went over the 1,000 career kill mark as the East Stroudsburg University women's volleyball team beat West Chester, 3-2, Tuesday in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division women's volleyball.

Mills (Reading/Central Catholic) finished 17 kills as the Warriors won by scores of 25-30, 32-30, 30-26, 29-31, 15-13.

Lauren Hoopes had 15 kills and five aces while Layli Ameri had 16 kills. Nikki LeBlanc had 11 kills and Caitlin Kuhn nine. Dawn Peipher had nine digs and Liz Johnson 67 assists.

ESU is atop the conference standings at 4-0, ahead of Kutztown (4-1), West Chester (2-2) and Shippensburg (2-3).

The Warriors, 14-4 overall, will play four games at the Clarion Tournament this weekend. Friday, they play Lock Haven (5 p.m.) and Edinboro (7 p.m.) and Saturday face Slippery Rock (noon) and Clarion (2 p.m.).
