EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University senior Dawn Peipher has been named to the Daktronics Division II Atlantic Region Volleyball First Team.
Peipher was one of seven players selected to the first team and was chosen as the Libero/Defensive Specialist. Those selected to the first and second teams are eligible for All-America honors.
Peipher (Bethlehem/Bethlehem Liberty) led the team with 777 digs, an average of seven per game. She also had seven kills and 21 aces and helped the Warriors to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference playoffs. Earlier in the season, she became the 16th player in NCAA Division II history to record 2,000 career digs.
ESU, under first-year head coach Michelle Kreeger, finished the season 21-14.
