EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University dropped a pair of women’s volleyball matches on Saturday, falling 3-1 to West Chester and 3-0 to Bridgeport in a tri-match at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Junior outside hitter Alyson Stark and freshman middle blocker Megan Plumb both had 10 kills against West Chester in the 19-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-20 loss.

Junior libero Lindsey Lullo had 29 digs in the match and recorded 26 digs against Bridgeport. Junior Diana Gibson (18 assists) and freshman Cassie Willman (14 assists) split time at setter vs. West Chester, while Gibson had all 21 of the Warriors’ assists vs. Bridgeport in the final match of the day. The Purple Knights improved to 15-3 on the season with a 25-12, 26-24, 25-17 win and also beat West Chester in three sets.

Junior Emily Detter and freshmen Kaitlin Behrens and Kiersten Noll all had five kills against Bridgeport and junior Brianne Bachman had four kills on seven attacks to go with four blocks. Bachman and Behrens also recorded five kills in the West Chester match.

ESU is back on the floor on Friday with a 7 p.m. match at Millersville.
