EASTON - Lafayette overcame a five-point deficit in the first game and went on to a 3-0 win over East Stroudsburg University in the Warriors' final match of the 2007 season on Tuesday night at Kirby Sports Center.

ESU led 23-18 before the Leopards won 11 straight points to take a 29-23 lead in the first game. ESU won the next five points and pulled within 29-28 before Lafayette closed the first game. The Leopards went on to win the final two games 30-21 and 30-19.

Freshman Kayla Mahaffey had 10 kills and was the only person on either team to have double-digit kills. Freshman Alyson Stark added nine kills for ESU, senior Liz Johnson had 25 assists and junior Kim Dormer led the Warriors with 23 digs.

For Lafayette Micheala Donohue and Katrina Racibarskas led a balanced attack each totaling nine kills apiece. Kari Horn had 22 digs and Racibarskas recorded 3.5 of the Leopards 12 blocks.

ESU finishes the season with a 10-27 record and will lose just one senior (Liz Johnson) going into the 2008 campaign.
