The pair enjoyed their first win at the first doubles position after going 11-5 last season at the number two doubles spot. The tandem of senior Sarah Deisher and freshman Amanda Kaufman easily took the second doubles match by a score of 8-0. The third doubles team of junior Marissa Tanner and freshman Megan Lopretto lost a close match 8-5.

Every Warrior found the win column in their first singles match of the day.

ESU also took on California later in the day at Shippensburg University. The Warriors were unable to continue their strong play from the morning and fell 9-0 to the Vulcans.

The Warriors return to the court on Tuesday when they travel to Bloomsburg for a 5:00 p.m. match.
