CLARION - East Stroudsburg University freshman Sally Kaminski finished 10th, Julie Steele 18th and two relays teams finished in the top-11 during the third day of competition at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference swimming championships at Clarion University.

The host school leads the team race with 658.5 points, followed by West Chester (546.5) and IUP (400). ESU has placed in seven events and is 11th with 106 points.

Kaminski swam a 1:58.67 to finish 10th in the 200-yard freestyle while Steele completed the 100-yard butterfly in 1:03.54.

Kim Jones, Corinne Harbold, Jackie Muller and Justin Grilz finished ninth in the 200-yard medley relay, the first event of the day in 1:56.61. Grilz, Steele, Marlo Smurda and Kaminski were 11th in the 8:11.35 in the 800-yard freestyle relay.

The championships will conclude Saturday evening.
