KUTZTOWN - Freshman Sarah Roscioli won the 50 freestyle and sophomore Christine Swiker placed third in three events to lead the East Stroudsburg University swimming team to a fifth-place finish at the Kutztown Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

Roscioli (Easton/Wilson) took the 50 free in 25.70, finishing .15 seconds ahead of Allison Sheely of Kutztown.

Swiker was third in the 200 and 400 IM and the 200 free. She swam the 200 IM in 2:20.67, the 400 IM in 4:55.74, and the 200 free in 2:04.35.

The Warriors were fifth out of nine schools. Kutztown was the top finisher with 659 points, while ESU had 211 to edge out Salisbury (Md.) by five points.
