Fuduric was an assistant at Lafayette College the last two years and involved in all aspects of the program including practice planning, recruiting, budget and travel and summer camps.
"We are confident Jill is ready to take the next step in her coaching career," Gioglio said. "She has a strong background in all aspects of the game, including skill development. Her experiences as a player will certainly be an asset as we continue to compete for the playoffs."
Prior to coaching at Lafayette, Fuduric was an assistant for two seasons at Rochester University.
"I would like to thank Dr. Gioglio and the committee for the opportunity," Fuduric said. "I am extremely excited to be here. The program is on an upswing and moving in the right direction so this is a great time to come here. The high-quality academics will be a great asset in recruiting."
Fuduric was a four-year starter and letterwinner at Allegheny College. She was a co-captain her final two seasons and earned first team All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors as a catcher and outfielder her senior season. She was a member of two conference championship teams.
"Jill has been involved in all aspects of running a quality softball program and we look forward to working with her," Gioglio said.
She earned her bachelor's degree in economics from Allegheny and her master's of science in educational leadership with an emphasis in higher education from the University of Rochester.
