EAST STROUDSBURG - The East Stroudsburg University softball team, which concluded its regular season 26-25, is ranked 6th in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the latest NCAA poll.

The top eight teams in the poll earn a spot in regionals. The final poll and the regional pairings will be announced Monday.

Lock Haven (43-3), the host of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference tournament, is No. 1 in the region, followed by Bloomsburg (35-13), Shippensburg (36-16), Kutztown (30-15) and California University of Pennsylvania (23-13). Millersville, which also concluded it regular season and did not qualify for the PSAC playoffs, is No. 7 and 29-19. North Carolina Central (34-14) is No. 8 followed by IUP (21-18) and Bowie State (25-12).

Lock Haven, Bloomsburg, Shippensburg, Kutztown, California and IUP will compete at the PSAC tournament this weekend at Lock Haven.
