EAST STROUDSBURG - Eliza Morosco (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Poughkeepsie) was named PSAC Softball Eastern Division Player of the Week, and Ronald Manning (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) was named the PSAC Baseball Eastern Division Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Morosco, a junior catcher, hit .545 (6-for-11) in four games last weekend against Shippensburg and Bloomsburg. She was 3-for-4 in the Warriors' first game on Friday at Shippensburg, with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. Morosco also doubled and drove in a run in Saturday's series with Bloomsburg and helped lead ESU to its first PSAC Softball Tournament appearance since 1981.

Manning allowed just one hit over 4 2/3 innings in a relief appearance for ESU against West Chester on Sunday. The freshman left-hander didn't give up a hit over his final four innings of work and allowed the Warrior bats to come back from a 4-2 deficit and tie the game in the seventh. After Manning retired the side in the eighth, ESU put together a two-out rally and scored the winning run on a single by Kirk Mueller that gave the Warriors a 5-4 victory. ESU will be making its first conference postseason appearance since 1985.
