MILLERSVILLE - Ashley Becker scored the lone goal and the East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team secured a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference playoff berth with a 1-0 win over Millersville, Thursday evening.

Becker kicked in her own rebound with 17 minutes remaining in the game as the Warriors improved to 5-4-2 in PSAC Eastern division play. ESU has a conference game remaining, Friday at Mansfield, but has secured the final Eastern division playoff spot. This will mark the first time the Warriors have been in the playoffs since 1998. ESU will play Kutztown Tuesday, Nov. 1 in the first round.

ESU keeper Samantha Marina made 10 saves for the shutout.

The Warriors, 8-8-2 overall, will conclude their regular season with games Friday at Mansfield and Saturday at California.
