EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University women's soccer players Jamie Lombardo and Brittany Staub have been named to the 2005 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division women's soccer first team. In addition, Ashley Becker was named to the second team.

Lombardo (Yardley/Pennsbury) was a senior captain for the Warriors and was chosen as a midfielder. Staub (Levittown/Neshaminy), a sophomore, was picked as a defender for the second straight year. Becker (Freehold, N.J./Colts Neck) is a freshman and was chosen as a forward.

Lombardo scored a team-best six goals for the Warriors and also had an assist as ESU qualified for the PSAC playoffs with a 5-5-2 league mark. Staub didn't score any goals but was one of the most consistent performers for coach Derek Arneaud and earned first-team accolades for the second straight year. Becker scored three goals in her first year of collegiate soccer.

ESU finished its season 8-10-3 and made the playoffs for the first time since 1998.
