KUTZTOWN - Three different players scored goals as Kutztown beat East Stroudsburg University, 3-0, Tuesday in the first round of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference women's soccer playoffs.

ESU, making its first appearance in the playoffs since 1998, had four shots on goal but could never recover from a 1-0 deficit and ends its season at 8-10-3.

Two of Kutztown's goals came off of corner kicks. Kutztown improved to 13-6-1 and will play at top-seeded and unbeaten West Chester Friday at 1 p.m.

Jamie Lombardo, Tara Takac, Charlene Conklin and Ashley Becker had shots for the third-seeded Warriors but Kutztown keeper Nicole Rodweller recorded the shutout.
