East Stroudsburg, Pa. - After making a return to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference playoffs, East Stroudsburg University was able to place four players on the All-PSAC second team. Senior Leah Quigley led the quartet with her third all-conference selection while senior Julie Dugan, freshman Renee Maniscalco and senior Julie Smith make their first appearances.

The four all-league players helped ESU improve from 4-13 last year to a solid 7-9 campaign and trip to the PSAC playoffs this year. The team lost eight of its nine defeats to top 10 ranked opponents while almost doubling the win total.

Quigley from Lansdale, Pa. makes her third All-PSAC team in her four years playing lacrosse for the Warriors. The center made the second team last year as a junior and first team as a freshman. For the third year in a row, Leah led the Warriors in scoring with 63 points as she netted a team-best 33 goals and assisted on 30 other scores. Quigley had two games with seven points to highlight her last season with three goals and four assists at Shippensburg and then five scores and two assists at Bloomsburg.

Maniscalco and Dugan were right behind Quigley in scoring for the season and both make their first all-conference honors. Mansicalco from Collegeville finished second on the squad with 43 points coming from 28 goals and 15 assists. The first year player had her best game of three goals and three assists at Shippensburg and scored two goals in 11 of the team's 15 contests.

Dugan (Media, Pa.) was the second leading goal scorer for ESU with 31 tallies. She netted five goals in the season opener at Millersville and added four more at Shippensburg. Julie assisted on six goals for a total of 37 points.

Smith made a near flawless transition from playing the field to taking over as the goalkeeper this year. The senior from Unityville wrapped up the year with a 12.77 goals against average and recorded 206 saves in net. Julie saved a season-high 20 shots on the road against both IUP and West Chester.
