West Chester, Pa. - After finishing the season strongly, East Stroudsburg met its match Tuesday afternoon in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference lacrosse playoff semifinals. Second-ranked West Chester took a 13-3 lead into the half and won the match 18-3.

Renee Maniscalco tied the contest at 1-1 with 24:29 left in the first half. The Golden Rams (15-1) scored the next six tallies over seven minutes of play and never looked back the rest of the match for the 18-3 win.

Maniscalco scored two of the ESU (7-9) goals and senior Leah Quigley added one score. Goalie Julie Smith tied a season-high 20 shots in net as West Chester outshot the Warriors 40-8 for the match.
