EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University women's lacrosse seniors Sadie Barton and Kirstin Mayberry have been selected to play in the IWLCA/Under Armour Division II North-South All-Star game, which will be played Saturday, June 13 in Downingtown, Pa.

Barton (Toms River, N.J./Toms River South) and Mayberry (Pottstown/Pottstown) are two of 16 players on the North team, which includes 2009 NCAA Tournament MVP Rachel Ray of national champion Adelphi. The PSAC will be represented by 12 of the 36 players selected for the Division II game.

Mayberry was a three-year starter in goal for the Warriors, appearing in 50 games during her career, and made 541 saves, tied for second in the school record book. She helped ESU to an 18-17 record in her final two years and a PSAC playoff appearance in 2008, when the Warriors tied the school record with 11 wins.

Barton started 14 games at defender as a senior and was a two-year starter. She had 30 ground balls and nine caused turnovers last season and was the team's Coaches Award recipient as a freshman. Mayberry received the Coaches Award for 2009 at ESU's Athletic Awards Banquet in April.

ESU will return its other 10 starters for the 2010 season, including first team All-PSAC East selections Christine Bradley, Michelle Mangiaruga and Laura Riegel.
