EAST STROUDSBURG - Sophomore attackers Christine Bradley and Michelle Mangiaruga and freshman defender Laura Riegel give East Stroudsburg University three players on the All-PSAC East women's lacrosse team, it was announced Wednesday.

Bradley (Pottstown/Pottstown) was a second team selection as a freshman, while Mangiaruga (North Wales/North Penn) was the Warriors' leading scorer after returning from a season-ending injury last year and Riegel (Royersford/Spring-Ford) earns all-conference honors in her first season at ESU.

Bradley was second on the Warriors with 51 points, third with 32 goals and had a team-high 19 assists to follow up a freshman season in which she had 16 goals and eight assists. She was named ESU's team MVP at the Athletic Awards Banquet on Sunday.

Mangiaruga scored 47 goals, the sixth-most in school history, and has scored three or more goals in 14 of the first 24 games of her career. She had 15 goals and seven assists in seven games as a freshman before going down with an injury, but returned to the Warriors this season to have an outstanding offensive season. She had two five-goal games among her 10 hat tricks was also second on the team with 12 assists.

Riegel stepped in on an ESU defense that lost all-conference selection Janelle Cronmiller and led the Warriors with 55 ground balls. She was second on the team with 17 caused turnovers and added 27 draw controls, third-most on the squad.

The three All-PSAC East picks were among eight Warriors to start all 17 games this season and led their team to a third-place finish in the division at 5-5. Six of the eight players were freshmen or sophomores for head coach Lynne Elphick, last year's PSAC Coach of the Year.
