Elphick, a 2003 graduate of ESU, was a four-year player on the lacrosse team and earned her degree in communications with a minor in English.

She returned to ESU after coaching for two years at Alvernia College in Reading, Pa. She led Alvernia to six wins and a 5-5 record in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference in her first season as a head coach. She was also an assistant coach for one year.

At Alvernia, Elphick was also the CHAMPS/Life Skills Coordinator and worked with student-athletes on a number of projects while also arranging speakers.

Elphick is originally from South Conventry Township, Pa. and is a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, where she was a four-year starter in lacrosse.

Lynne and her husband Chris were married last November and reside in Allentown with their black pitbull, Chaz, and two cats, Sweety and Lucky.
