EAST STROUDSBURG - Susan Kidder, an alumna of the class of 1969 and a member of the East Stroudsburg University Athletic Hall of Fame, has been selected for membership in the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

This year's class consists of 10 individuals and will be inducted in a ceremony on Nov. 10, 2007 at The Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley, Md. The National Lacrosse Hall of Fame was established in 1957 and is located at the U.S. Lacrosse headquarters in Baltimore. The Class of 2007 will be the 50th class to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Kidder was named ESU's outstanding senior female athlete in 1969 after completing a four-year career in both lacrosse and field hockey. She was a member of the first U.S. World Cup team in 1982, a journey which started in 1970 when she was named to the U.S. team for the first time.

Kidder was the head lacrosse coach at Norristown High School from 1972-81 and also served as an assistant coach for Ursinus College's 1983 Division II national championship team. She was inducted into the ESU Hall of Fame in 1987 and is also a member of the U.S. Lacrosse Philadelphia Chapter Hall of Fame.
