EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University women's lacrosse player Renee Maniscalco is the ABC Trophy Inc. Athlete of the Week for April 24.

Maniscalco scored five goals and added an assist in both of the Warriors' games last week, as they defeated Slippery Rock 21-7 on Wednesday before falling 15-9 at Millersville on Saturday.

The junior midfielder has a team-high nine assists this season and is second with 25 goals. She is two points behind Katie Fretz (36 points) for the team lead in 2007.

Each week ABC Trophy, Inc., of Stroudsburg awards an ESU Athlete of the Week. The selection is announced Tuesday and each student receives a red and silver plaque.
