ERIE – Freshman Karen Cash placed 10th in a field of 49 golfers with a two-day score of 162 to lead East Stroudsburg University at the season-opening Mercyhurst Fall Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Downing Golf Course.

Allegheny finished first out of the eight schools competing led by Hannah Schonau-Taylor, who was the medalist by eight strokes at four-over par on the par-72, 5,908-yard layout.

Alycia Jones shot a 203 for ESU and was followed by Regan Zimmerman, Kelly Barrieres and Lauren Riggs.

The Warriors will compete at Clarion next weekend at Clarion Oaks Golf Course.
