ERIE - Junior Briana Malachowski was 18th to pace the East Stroudsburg University women's golf team at the Mercyhurst Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Downing Golf Course.

Malachowski carded rounds of 84 and 88 on the par-72 yard course to place in the top 20. Stephanie Smith, Kaley Rode and Sara Walsh rounded out the Warriors' weekend foursome.

Mary Snode of Mount Union fired a 151 to earn medalist honors by three strokes. Allegheny College took the team championship by a comfortable margin over Gannon.

ESU is off until the PSAC championships, which will be held next month in Hershey.
