LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Junior Briana Malachowski shot a two-day score of 178 to tie for 14th as the East Stroudsburg University women's golf team played in the Hawk Invitational hosted by Monmouth University at Eagle Ridge Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday.

Malachowski turned in rounds of 90 and 88 for the Warriors on the par-72, 5,810-yard layout. Sophomore Stephanie Smith (219), freshman Lauren Riggs (233) and sophomore Kaley Rode (285) also competed for ESU.

Fairleigh Dickinson won the seven-team event by 10 strokes over Hofstra (649-659). The Knights were led by medalist Lisa Warrilow (81-73-154) and runner-up Michele Holzwarth (80-79-159).

ESU is scheduled to compete in the Muhlenberg Invitational on Monday, April 6 at Lehigh Country Club.
