April 1 ESU Names Dustin McCormick Head Coach of Women's Golf Program EAST STROUDSBURG - Dustin McCormick, an assistant golf pro and head teaching professional at the Water Gap Country Club, has been named the first head coach of the women's golf program at East Stroudsburg University.
McCormick has been hired to guide and develop the program, which was added this spring as the university's 22nd varsity sport and will begin competition in the fall. January 25 ESU to Add Women's Golf in 2008 EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University will add women's golf as a varsity sport for the 2008-09 academic year and will begin competition this fall, it has been announced by university officials.
The addition of the program will create additional opportunities for female student-athletes at ESU and strengthens the university's commitment to women's athletics, said Director of Athletics Dr. Tom Gioglio.
