LANCASTER - East Stroudsburg University freshman Karen Cash earned medalist honors for the second time this fall, winning the Lancaster Intercollegiate Classic by 11 strokes after the second day of play was rained out on Tuesday.

CLARION - East Stroudsburg University freshman Karen Cash was the medalist at the Clarion Invitational at Clarion Oaks Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday, winning the rain-shortened 27-hole tournament by two strokes with a score of 117.

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Junior Briana Malachowski shot a two-day score of 178 to tie for 14th as the East Stroudsburg University women's golf team played in the Hawk Invitational hosted by Monmouth University at Eagle Ridge Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday.

ESU Names Dustin McCormick Head Coach of Women's Golf Program
EAST STROUDSBURG - Dustin McCormick, an assistant golf pro and head teaching professional at the Water Gap Country Club, has been named the first head coach of the women's golf program at East Stroudsburg University.
McCormick has been hired to guide and develop the program, which was added this spring as the university's 22nd varsity sport and will begin competition in the fall.

ESU to Add Women's Golf in 2008
EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University will add women's golf as a varsity sport for the 2008-09 academic year and will begin competition this fall, it has been announced by university officials.
The addition of the program will create additional opportunities for female student-athletes at ESU and strengthens the university's commitment to women's athletics, said Director of Athletics Dr. Tom Gioglio.
