BROOKVILLE, N.Y - Ashley Kocis set the school single-season scoring record as the East Stroudsburg University field hockey team beat C.W. Post, 4-1, Sunday on Long Island.

Kocis scored twice and has 23 goals for the season, passing ESU Athletic Hall of Fame member Ann Marie Dellibovi who had 22 in 1990. Earlier this season, Kocis set the career scoring record and now has 44 career goals.

Sarah Cordora had three assists and Jacqui Domzalski and Kristen Trois also scored for the Warriors who are now 11-7.

C.W. Post, which fell to 11-5, scored less than five minutes into the game. Kocis tied it 14 minutes later off of a Cordora assist. Trois gave ESU a 2-1 halftime lead when she scored off of a double assist from Cordora and Kara Partington. Kocis then scored her 23rd goal of the season, off of a Cordora pass, 20 minutes into the second half. Domzalski closed the scoring, off of an Erin Due assist.

Miranda Fountain made 12 saves for the Warriors who will host Catawba (N.C.) Tuesday at 3 p.m. in a non-conference match at Whitenight Field.
