EAST STROUDSBURG - Ashley Kocis and Katie Ord were named to the 2006 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II All-America first team, it was announced Monday. In addition, Erin Due and Cara Senese were named to the second team.

Kocis (Buckingham/Central Bucks East) is a senior forward who set a new ESU scoring record with 29 goals. She also had an assist and finished with 59 points.

Ord (Palmerton/Palmerton) is a senior center back who was a key part of a defense that allowed just 28 goals in 20 games.

Due (Pen Argyl/Pen Argyl) played midfield and defense and worked with Ord to keep opponents' offense at bay. Senese (East Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg South) played both forward and midfield and was third on the team with nine goals and nine assists for 27 points.

ESU finished the season 13-7, the 21st straight non-losing season for head coach Sandy Miller.

Kocis was also honored by womensfieldhockey.com where she was named first-team All-America. Ord was on the second team.
