EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University seniors Kierstyn DeNardo and Molly McNeil were both named to the roster for the NFHCA North/South Senior All-Star Game which will be held Friday, November 21 at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C.

DeNardo (Nazareth/Northampton) and McNeil (Hamburg/Hamburg), both three-year letterwinners for the Warriors, are co-captains for a team that has posted a 13-6 record going into the final home game of the regular season on Thursday against Mansfield.

ESU’s 13 wins are the most since the 2006 season and have the Warriors poised for potential PSAC and NCAA tournament spots depending on results around Division II field hockey this weekend.

DeNardo was a first team All-PSAC East midfielder as a junior and second team as a sophomore and has 10 goals and nine assists in her career. She has made 59 career starts for the Warriors and scored the game’s only goal in a 1-0 win at Millersville this season.

McNeil played in all 20 games and made three starts at forward in 2008, recording four goals and two assists, including a goal and an assist in an overtime win at Kutztown. She has played in eight games this season and saw action in 13 games as a sophomore.

The Warriors will honor their seniors before they take on Mansfield on Thursday at 4 p.m. at Whitenight Field.
