EAST STROUDSBURG - Sophomore Caitlin Brownley is the ABC Trophy, Inc. Athlete of the Week at East Stroudsburg University for her role in the Warriors' 2008 field hockey season.

Brownley (Biglerville/Biglerville) leads ESU with eight goals and five assists and had two goals and two assists in a pair of wins last week. She scored a goal in a 5-0 win over Catawba, and had a hand in three of the Warriors' first four goals in a 7-0 rout of Slippery Rock on Sunday.

Brownley has four game-winning goals and has helped ESU to an 11-7 record entering the final two games of the regular season, on Wednesday vs. C.W. Post and Saturday at Millersville.

ABC Trophy, Inc. awards an athlete of the week to an outstanding student-athlete each week at ESU. Each recipient is presented with a red and silver plaque.
